Meet Mairi

The visionary behind RBM

Who began dedicating her PA career to aesthetic medicine over 15 years ago. Early in her aesthetic medicine career, Mairi was praised for her sharp eye and masterful techniques that yielded exceptional results. These skills served as the foundation for a 6-year career serving as a top advanced clinical trainer for one of the largest aesthetic injectable pharmaceutical companies in the world. She worked with the greatest plastic surgeons, dermatologists, as well as other physician specialties and PAs/NPs throughout Southeast Florida – spanning from West Palm Beach to Key West – learning and teaching groundbreaking techniques that would become the fundamentals of today’s aesthetic injectable industry.

Mairi was a pioneer of the philosophy that we should all age gracefully and naturally - or the most refreshed versions of ourselves. She has worked tirelessly to destigmatize the idea of an “overinjected face” and “looking fake” and works closely with her discerning patients to develop comprehensive plans that keep them looking natural and beautiful. Her favorite compliment made to her patients is “you look like you slept so well – you look refreshed!”. Focused on an individualized, hands-on, results-driven approach, Mairi delivers a tailored and personal experience that is unique to your needs and goals, and fosters a patient-practitioner relationship that is extremely uncommon in South Florida.

Meet Carla

Leader in Aesthetics and Body Contouring

Carla Homez, a leader in the Aesthetics and Body Contouring Industry, received her Doctor of Medicine Degree at the age of 23, from the Universidad of Zulia in Venezuela. Upon moving to the United States, she launched her aesthetic career at Bowes Dermatology, collaborating with Dr. Dieter Manstein, the visionary behind many leading technologies in aesthetic medicine. This partnership allowed her to lead and perform numerous clinical studies, advancing technologies in aesthetics and body contouring, now widely utilized. During her time there she acquired her registered nurse degree as well as obtained her electrologist and laser technician licenses in the US.

Over the years, Carla has earned acclaim as a seasoned professional and expert in aesthetics & energy-based devices, leading to her selection as faculty for Allergan Medical Institute and clinical educator for Aesthetics Management Partners. In these roles, she imparts her expertise to physicians and providers globally, fostering greater proficiency with energy-based devices.

Carla's dedication to aesthetics, body contouring, and skincare is unwavering, driving her to consistently pursue the latest advancements and treatments to deliver exceptional results for her clients.

In 2023, Carla joined Refresh by Mairi, committed to enhancing her clients’ skin quality through personalized treatment plans combining medical-grade skincare regimens and in-office device treatments. Renowned as one of South Florida's premier aesthetic device specialists, Carla and Mairi have united to offer a powerhouse resource, delivering transformative results for their clients.
